The most important
part of any voice or data network is the cabling
infrastructure. Statistics show that 70% to 80% of all system
performance problems and failures are a result of poor
installation practices. Exceeding pulling tension standards
and twisting the cable can significantly reduce the
performance of your voice and data networks. That's
why G2C adheres to EIA/TIA 568A and 569 commercial
building and structured cabling standards to insure system
performance.
G2C is certified by the Small Business
Administration in the following areas:
- HUBZone
- 8a
- Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB)
8a certification is obtained through a lengthy
application process and the company must meet the following
criteria:
The applicant firm
- must be a small business,
- must be unconditionally owned and controlled by one or
more socially and economically disadvantaged individuals who
are of good character and citizens of the United States, and
- must demonstrate potential for success.
The
SBA's 8(a) Business Development Program is an initiative that
helps small disadvantaged businesses compete in the American
economy. Program participation is divided into two stages. The
developmental stage is designed to help 8(a) certified firms
overcome their economic disadvantage by providing personalized
business assistance in expanding their business and fostering
meaningful business relationships.
The Small
Disadvantaged Business (SDB) Certification Program is designed
to treat small companies equitably and empower them to pursue
business in both the private and public sector contract arena.
The HUBZone Empowerment Contracting Program is
designed to stimulate economic development and create jobs in
urban and rural communities. The program provides contracting
opportunities to small businesses located in, and hiring
employees from, Historically Underutilized Business Zones.
